How are you getting that from the numbers?

Bernie had the highest debate performance rating other than Harris and Warren (although that's distorted a bit by his popularity going in)

Bernie gained more in the before/after polls than anyone other than Harris

Bernie's favorable rating jumped by 2% to 76.3% after the debate such that he's now the candidate with the highest favorability.

Bernie's the only candidate other than Warren whose unfavorable rating didn't go up after the debate.

:what:

Why are you letting the facts and numbers get in the way of a good narrative?

His point is that Bernie did horrible at the debate, and here you come with all this research and polling data that shows otherwise.

Later for your truths and facts nikka. :camby:

Being racist and owning the libs are key parts of the republican platform.

Trumpism would not have won him the democratic primary.

Either you think he's good or you think Hillary was bad. Y'all nikkas want it both ways all the time. :mjlol:

OP showed he's the most well-liked Democrat in the field.

After Biden continues his self-implode as always tactic, Bernie will likely be the frontrunner. Unless Harris or Warren can make a huge splash to pull those Biden voters, but Bernie is probably in the pole position for them to start.

I feel like every other candidate is probably around their peak. Bernie’s issue is that he needs to switch up his flow and show a personality that he does not have.

He was well liked last go around as well. But there's been a lot of debate with regard to likeability and actual election results. From 2012:

NPR Choice page
He says the common cliche that the more likeable candidate always wins isn't the case. "There's very little historical evidence for it," he says. After looking at research back to 1952 that evaluated how people evaluated candidates in personal terms, Fiorina says likeability "appeared to be a minor factor. The fact is we decide who is likeable after they win, not before they win."
I think Trump represents this pretty well. Similarly we see the same for Hillary after she lost.

I agree that he needs to switch up flow a bit and reinvigorate his campaign which feels like it's in a holding pattern.

I think the other candidates have room to gain just based on the name recognition gaps between them and Biden/Bernie.

That said, we're still a long way from the first primaries.

The best article on Bernie is that long read for Time magazine. He just isn’t that personable and is actually sort of a loner. He hates retail politics.

He doesn't like Bernie so he didn't do well in his eyes

We back? :ohhh::patrice:Polls all over the place lol. I guess we’ll really know when it’s just Biden, Bernie, warren and Kamala left

How well Bernie is doing depends on what poll you're looking at.

It's July 2019 and there's 20 candidates in the field, how well anyone is doing depends on a lot more than polls.

Obama was still 50 points behind Clinton in November 2007, but that wasn't indicative of how he was doing. Sanders wasn't even on the map in July 2015. Y'all need to let this stuff play out. Just make sure that Biden keeps getting in front of cameras and campaigning and shyt and doesn't try to just hide in a bunker and "I was Obama's VP!" his way to the nomination.
