I know why some people don’t like Cage. He’s clearly made the choice to overreact, ham it up, and turn himself into a meme. I think it’s funny, and he’s clearly a talented actor when he wants to be.

The fact that Cage is clearly self aware makes it endearing. I like that he doesn’t take himself too seriously.

I think there are better choices out there as far as actors to randomly hate.

Also I wanna add Will Ferrell. I don’t mind when someone finds a lane and rides with it (like Harrison Ford or Tom Cruise) but with comedic actors I think it’s more annoying. Hence why cats like Adam and Will get irritating to me when they just play caricatures in even movie.

I fukk with Madsen though. He’s the same dude in almost every movie, but I think he’s good at it and usually picks roles in good movies. He’s an eccentric cat in real life too, but not in an annoying way.

breh....I couldn't believe the madness and hype that was around that film. I got negged to oblivion for say Faster was a more entertaining film than Drive. Gosling putting on his best model and vogue poses was one of the reason.
