Not that they aren't good actors, i just think Hollywood is pushing too hard to make them leading men, (i think in a bid for more latino representation, which is fine) but they are not leading men material.
Should both be those type of character actors whose name you hardly recognize but see in small parts in every movie. like ooh thats whats his name from that one movie.
Instead they keep getting leading roles, and i'm like nobody is jumping out of their seat to see a movie because of Pedro or Oscar.
They are not and will never be the hispanic Tom Cruise or Denzel. stop giving them those parts. As best they can be the Steve Buscemi of the latino community.
