I’ve said it in other threads. No idea if he’s lying or underselling, but most actors live paycheck to paycheck just like blue and white collar folks. Main difference is their expenses. They’ll have nicer things. 5 or 6 figure exec getting a Benz and worrying about payments, entertainers get the Ferrari and are struggling to make payments; this is an analogy and doesn’t relate to everyone but you should get the picture.

His been in the industry long enough to have set something up surely? Google says he was worth 35 million in 2024.

It's why a lot of actors get into producing or exec producing their own stuff. You try and get films and shows you want produced. You can't act forever and you want to have a say in your career.

You also can't wait for these studios to come to you unless you scorching hot. Damn shame tbh.
His also 60yrs old. He won't be getting the roles he used to.

That means he won't be getting the pay he used to get either.

The bolded is probably what it is. He probably has mad expenses and bills to upkeep and the roles he's getting offered are shrinking.

Most movies I’ve seen him in lately have been small parts. I thought he was gonna be a main character in the most recent quiet place and he was barely in it.
