Hopefully some new directors can reach out to him and offer him some roles that can help showcase his talent as an actor and put some money in his pockets

Facts.

The vast majority of actors in the undustry cannot even make a livable wage from acting alone and have to supplement. A working actor like Honsou may appear successful but he is not typically the star, and he is not part of super successful franshcise or TV show.

Outside of shows in syndication and starring roles in super successful franchises, it is very hard to make crazy money in Hollywood, only a small select few make it.

So from the outside looking in , only a handful of actors especially black actors will ever reach Denzel or samuel l money per movie contract

I think a lot of actors believe hey this movie made 300 million off a 50 million budget, so i deserve to get paid.. but unfortunately u wasn’t the star or co star to a extent and u accepted the role and check your agent negotiated for u..

TV, radio have so many people thinking that once u in Hollywood then you going to be living above everyone else

U have a Agent, u have a lawyer, u have a manager and u a few others in your circle who all have to get paid and the Tax man what his share..

So if you get 3 million for a movie, 1.5 million already gone from taxes and then others have to get paid in your circle then you are in the MID 6 figures and then u add in rent/mortgage , and utilities…

Then u know these celebrities love cars, clothes, jewelry on top of other expenses..

And I haven’t even mentioned the kids u have to spend money on..
