i dont really care, but it dont take as much skill to win wit the top tier teams as it does wit lower teams, and some teams are good but take a crazy amount of skill to win wit(boston, spurs) cause they dont have that one dominated player to take over the game, and just drive wit all day, rondo is great but cant shoot so he wont be dominated unless u good, parker can be dominate and manu can be too just have to knw how to play

im a top madden player(play for money and all that, no cheesing) and i play wit the broncos almost every game i played(outside of last year, even tho i play most of them wit the broncos, i played alot wit the texans in tournys last year) and last year was super tough wit tebow back there and i still won a bunch of games, when i played wit texans or packers the passing game was so easy and running game, i was completing atleast 90% of my passes, but this year wit peyton back its great, nikka is everything i wished for in a qb real talk and im just beast this year, im ranked 355 at the moment, some tough losses last night

so a greatly talented user will beat a medicore talented player most of the times, no matter what team is being used, but yea its much easier to use a great team, but they can be beat tho

What defenses have you guys been using against those stacked teams? The only defense I've had somewhat success with is a 1-3-1. They get the occassional baseline three or mid range shot, but it clogs the lane and puts mad pressure on the ball handler.

Dude must have some semblance of skill with the Lakers if he gets W's with them. I just pick the Knicks all the time online and I've racked up W's against cats picking the NBA Elite teams. I've also took L's to dudes who picked the 76ers. Sometimes dudes just feel comfortable with their skills and a certain team. Be smart though if you know your boy will pick the Lakers that means Dwight will catch everything off the rim, especially with the shytty cpu rebounding logic in this years game. So pick a team who has a big front court to counteract. Or if someone picks Miami and just wants to drive with Lebron and D-Wade all game, pick a team with legitimate 3 point sharpshooters and go off. Most likely Miami will dominate in the paint but those threes should keep you in the game. The best way to blow a Laker fan's high is to just pick the Clippers and let overrated Blake Griffin and Deaundre Jordan rape in the paint, then when they wanna double in the paint let CP3, Billups and Butler knock down open shots. If you get a fastbreak with them no one will stop you unless you foul them.

I don't think there is any arguing with the fact that it takes less skill to play with a talented team...ESPECIALLY if certain players on that team are good at things the AI doesn't account for well.

Hell, there are instances IRL in which mediocre coaches look REAL GOOD because of the talent on their team. Barry Switzer (stacked Cowboys), Larry Coker (stacked Hurricanes), Erik Spoelstra (Heat), etc.

There are a bunch of things you can do strategy wise to try and win, but there is no arguing with the fact that good players make it a lot easier.

I remember for the longest I didn't play anyone in madden but homies in the hood and they ALWAYS played with stacked teams. I remember the first time I get online and my opponent picked a mediocre team I was like .

I haven't played online yet, but I like the bulls, clippers, Knicks, and grizzlies as teams I play as. I never tries the lakers or the heat on 2k13 or 12.

I did occasionally use the cavs back when Bron was in Cleveland in 2k10 tho.

I hear ya breh and thats the bottom line every team can be beat.Its not that I havent got any wins against my boy in fact our head2head is 16-10 in his favor.I need to come up with a better starategy

Very interesting what you brought up cause that leads to my next question:What do you think of people who use zone defenses?I usually try to play sim and play man 2 man on ball defense but its hard to do that when the other person doesnt play on ball(He runs around swiping at the ball with Kobe on def) thats another gripe I have but whatever I aint going to complain now.He says playing zone is bullshyt yet will play off ball defense all day.

Im about to say fukk it start playing zone and see if that helps

Yeah it seems counterpicking is the best strategy we played 4 games (I won 1 and lost 2 with the Spurs,Lost 2 very close games with the thunder)while playing I looked at the team stats to see where I lost the game and my biggest problem is second chance points.This dude Dwight Howard just grabs everything and whatever he misses here comes Gasol.

So is there something I can do that can help me with my rebounding?I really enjoyed playing with the Thunder yesterday and it looks like Iim going to run with the Spurs,Thunder and Nets any tips with these teams whould be greatly appreciated brehs

I come to the coli and I play with alot of you we all play the same games so you know what I am talking about.Not just Basketball, Madden and most sports games in particular .Im going to tell a story real quick and I know it will sound familiar cause we all been through this one way or another so let me paint this picture and yall tell me what you think.

I have been playing 2k since 2k on the dreamcast I like to think I know how to play after all these years.I play against one of my boys alot he is a Laker fan been a ride or die laker fan as long as I known him.Our matchup right now is 15-9(Yeah we keep records round here nygga)I can take a loss no problem it is what it is.After he wins he acts like he won the damn championship whether he won by 20 or 1.Aight he wants to be a sore winner thats fine but this nygga is the worst sore loser I have ever seen in my life I swear on my mothers grave after every loss I get a goddamn Ipod playlist about how I played and what I did etc etc.

Long story short he beat me once last night and he is doing his chest thumping whatever and here is how the convo went:

Actually breh, you might just be a shytty ass player. Both of those teams are very beatable. You should focus more on growing your gamer skills and less on what team someone else selects.
