ima have to disagree with you here. ja rulea career DID die because of 50 cent. at the time he was releasing those girl songs, that shyt was working. it wasnt until 50 came from a whole different parralell that people realized theyd rather hear what 50 was on than the soft singy shyt ja rule was on, which i repeat up until 50 exposed him no one had a problem with.

jarule was the most-hated rapper in the game, long before 50 went mainstream.

and he was already beginning his decline.

and there was recently a whole thread about this. the 50/ja beef was much bigger than just them. it wasnt your typical rap rivalry. the feds & the corporate suits put in more work on murder inc than 50 cent.

the same 50 cent who went on to get destroyed in 90% of his other beefs.

VVV was old as hell by this point. and it really wasnt that big a deal either.

im not saying that nobody liked jarule. im saying he was the most hated in the game for a good minute before 50 even hit the mainstream.

no diss but you sound like you were a young radiohead when this was going down.

meanwhile ghost is referring to him as "nikka" all over the video.

i dont like white folks using that term either, but i cant say anything if the next man is basically right in front of me, telling them to use it.
Crazy thing. They were the main ones calling each other Gods back in the day with the Wu.

Ghost just talking tho. Nothing will happen but at least he addressed his fat funky ass

true i was in middle school or early high school when 50 came along. i didnt get that vibe from ja rule. his shyt was bumpin and i dont recall him really being that hated. im gonna need others to co sign your opinion before i can verify it, or you to link me to some old source articles or something.

source articles? im talking bout the streets fam.

jarule was a mere radio rapper by summer '01.

his oversaturation, mixed with the fact that he started out str8 hardcore is what did him in. he had already started his downfall with that "last temptation" album anyway.

I can't listen to that dude for too long either but it's all basically in the first 5 minutes. He basically broke down the whole situation with him and Wu at Rock the Bells where Rae and em punched him in the face. He admitted he was wrong and he also states that there are some rap n!ggas you don't wanna mess with in hip hop and Ghost/Wu are some of them. He also said he's glad that it's not him having to deal with the Wu drama this time.

Redman weed carriers used to chill on my old block when I was a kid they used to tell us stories about how those wu nikkas were wild. When Newark dudes are referring to other nikkas as crazy I believe them.

The comments under the video are disgusting :snoop:

Bunch of goofy twats talking about "When did he last drop an album ? He just wants attention !!"
Reminds me that dudes who pop that "Real Hip Hop fan" shyt can be just
as fraudulent as "Pop rap" fans.

Saw way to many "I love the Wu but when was the last time Ghost dropped an album ?" comments.

The beat selection was incoherent but some of the tracks are pretty noteworthy like Eazy Rider.
There are more bad songs than good. And 85% of the album has no replay value.

I literally deleted all of his music from my hard drive as soon as the ESPN footage came up. Days later, I don't regret anything.

Now Imagine me deleting Ghost's Catalog..........shieeeeeeeeeeet
