Naw breh, war movies have plenty of action so they can be included. Just like if someone adds back to the future or the lion king, that's up to them. If those movies get enough votes then they will make the final list. But I doubt those types of movies will make the final list anyway.

This is a mistake, imo.

War movies should be there own distinct genre, as far as these lists go.

I agree, that's why I didn't include them in my list. They are not the same as Action; War movies are their own separate genre and are even listed as so

The Madagascar chase scene is probably one of the best action chase scenes ever made

I may be in the minority, but I think the opening chase from Quantum Of Solace is actually better. Mostly because of the fight on the scaffolding status

And for you guys who love Casino Royale so much.....how do the poker scenes in the movie not offend every sense of logic you have? They are so exceptionally stupid that they will forever prevent me from calling it a great film.

I've heard that the poker scenes make no sense but here's the thing: I know next to nothing about poker so it doesn't offend my logic at all. I'm the guy in the crowd that execs talk about when they say "They'll never know the difference" I've watched so many Bond flicks with Baccarat a game which I don't get, at this point it's irrelevant to me. The scene in Quantum is dope too

Idk breh it's my favorite book so what would ruin it for me more is if the character was a parody of himself or if the book wasn't translated well.

@Uncle_Ruckus wanted it to be open season breh, it's his thread, his list his rules. Everyone has different definitions for what fits this specific genre. Total Film did a top action list and it had kung fu flicks, sci-fi flicks, and comic book flicks

You really think enough people would pick Lion King for it to make the official list breh? I was just saying it doesn't matter if someone makes a weird choice for an action film cause the final list will be all action films a bunch of people voted for not that one weird one someone named (i.e. Lion King). Most of the lists posted will give you an idea of what is gonna make the final list as of right now. I haven't seen any one post anything out of the norm yet. You guys thinking into this too much. Just post your list what you think is action and see what happens. I have faith in the Coli that the final list will be all action movies. If The Raid makes the list so be it.
