First time playing AC and I am struggling with dodging the missiles on level 5 (the one with the convicts). Any tips?

I just got to this level... shyt is kinda hard. I had to start over 4 times, when it would only be 3 or 4 aircraft left on the screen I wouldn't even think about using my flares and get shot down. I used them when I got down to that amount and passed.

I had to drop the difficulty and the game is still rough for me.

There’s an even worse stage lol, had like 5+ restarts. I’m using the basic flight controls too. So I think I’ll play on easy then run through again on normal mode

Basically, I’ve been told to get to a 90 degree angle to the middle then accelerate. Since doing that I’ve not even had to use flares

The game is supposed to be really, really hard.

Best tip I can give you is LISTEN TO YOUR RADIO DIRECTIONS DURING MISSIONS. I can’t stress this shyt enough. Do what the fukk your told. Watch your mission briefings because the shyt matters.

It's a shame this game is only in PSVR for 3 levels. Thats an automatic fail right there. I hope they release the game with all levels in VR soon thou.

Actually look at the radar to see the heading of the missile on your ass. Once you gauge the distance, you should notice the angle or heading that it has on you - if you can break away past the 30 degree mark you SHOULD be good and not have to worry about it even with the alarm blaring

its certainly a timing thing, and on top of that its not easy to pick up or adjust to either.

This game is a mixed bag. Ultimately Sony had the game dumbed down graphically, I'll get to that. The game is a pass on the Xbox, Xbox S, and ps4. Only the PS4pro and one X and PC versions are worthy of your time. Xbox version is 720p and hovers at 30-40 frames per sec (supposed to be 60) the ps4 version is 972p and the frame rate hovers in the 40's with the occasional spike to a low 50. They say this inconsistency takes away from the sense of speed.

So, that leaves us with the PS4pro and Xbox one X versions which both top off at a whopping 1080p and while both maintain 60fps for the majority the more powerful Xbox one X struggles in certain parts of the game and frame rate will drop to around 55fps. The pro doesn't have that occurrence. The PC version can do whatever your PC can handle but also has a few issues but nothing worth talking about. So this game in its current state is underwhelming for most...

Your first instinct was to blame the Xbox then claim since its underpowered you should wait till next gen... Why wait when the X gives you native 4k in more demanding titles like red dead 2

Red Dead got fake HDR let alone native 4k lmao, I feel sorry for you idiots who believe this shyt, X box can't even run Overwatch in native 4k only the goddamn select screen lmao, the game is too much for xbox to handle get over it

its.... i get their reasoning for the 'limitations'. Game saw hell in development and the new engine threw them through a loop.

the VR is still HANDS DOWN the best flight experience I've had with it. 3 missions is a dirty tease. Hoping they announce some more content for it (its bandai-namco, they pretty much are obligated to)
