Yes. But most of those savings started years before I worked

I opted to just go into the workforce then waste more money at college & continued the saving my parents began for me afterwards. I possibly would've have alot more savings if not for my son + taking care of my mothers health related issues but it's well worth it. (Thank god for savings plans and 457 & IRA's.).

By 35 years old...

• You should have 10k saved.
• Paid off at least 1 loan.
• Start saving for a down payment.
• Be in the position to buy a new car.
• Be able to afford a wedding ring.
• Have health insurance so you can afford birth control.
• Go on vacation once a year and go to the club there.
• All while putting that on the same damn credit card.

So by 35 years old...

You should have six figures saved.

Pay down debt.

Have put a big down payment down for a house in a nice neighborhood

Have a luxury vehicle.

Pay for a 25K wedding so your wife has the wedding she always dreamed of

Have children she always wanted

Still go on vacation and ball at the club for the gram and your haters
