I've been riding out my employer's match on my 401k while I knock out my student loans in 3 years. I'll up that to 15% when I'm debt free (probably look into maxing a Roth). So this isnt too far fetched for me.

I guess it's possible if you don't have children by 35(child support will kill your pockets), and work making $50 to $65k+ a year since 25.

Sounds hard but it's not. We spend frivilously. If we stopped spending on dumb shyt we could easily save $5-$10 g's a year from 25-35 .
