Adrien struggles with two things: size and pressure. Mikey doesn't hold the advantage in either category. Mikey is a calculated and methodical boxer that will play into the hands of ab. When u lay back and wait for opportunities that gives ab time and space to pick u apart. From the outside ab is too slick and too quick for mikey to outbox imo. Mikey best bet is to get close and work the body early. Adrien gives up body shots the point problem with that is adrien will kill u with counters when u go to the body. Just like he killed paulie with check left hoOKs l for his body work.
Size will play a factor as well. Adrien has fought really good comp at 140
Taylor - vet that been in there with good fighters. Decent scrap with Algieri. Pressure fighter with heart and some skill on the inside but ab still clearly won and dropped him as well.
Khabib- took guzman's zero. Should have taken jessie vargas zero as well but got the short end of the stick on the cards. Southpaw with heart. Ab chop him up and drowned him in garlic butter. Stopped him in the 12th
Theopane - missed weight by .4 pounds iirc. Stopped a nikka who never been stopped before. Even danny didn't stop him.
That's just off the top of my head. But mikey only fought Emilio rojas who is a superfeatherweight at 140. The exp at 140 will play a factor in this fight. Mikey has never been in there with someone the same size let along bigger than him, faster than him, more slick then him, has a wider punch variety than him.
The only way mikey wins is either by clipping ab (which not happening if madiana couldn't stop him at his 2nd fight at 147. Mikey not stopping him at 140)

It's going to be a good fight, well see the gameplan from Garcia.
He doesn't pressure he picks his shots, hes not crazy porter up in your grill by any means.

Broner at this big an underdog is good value to bet
I expect him to lose a close fight, but no way he's this big a dog. Broner does well against boxers like mikey

but in generalities, broner does well against boxers. swarmers like maidana have given him trouble. like i says, i expect mikey to win. but 6:1 is too much odds. i htink its a lot closer than that
Yea the odds are ridiculous. But just saying Broner does well against punchers, is making the most 10,000ft from the sky observation. If you could classify Mikey into a category, it'd be boxer-puncher.

DeMarco was a good boxer-puncher when he wanted to be. He went forward too much though.

demarco would be my best guess even then its not anywhere close to mikey but he is a consertive guy that has some skills.

i think mikey might be the most skilled guy AB has fought (dont sleep on paulie any nikka that has pillow fists but can win world titles at both 140 and 147 is legit) but i just dont think he has the skill set to beat AB. fighters like AB usually do well against "boxers" because a boxer gives you time and space. In the event that mikey does pressure I dont think thats a good idea. He will be eating counters like everyone who pressured AB outside of porter.
