Yes he is a prize fighter, he should be willing to go all out and go out on his shield if its neccessary to get the win. That is the key trait of an elite prize fighter, they make things happen for the prize and the glory, especially when its all on the line.

Broner doesn't have that mindset to do whatever it takes to be successful and be elite, even though he has the physical tools to do so IMHO

Nah...i disagree. You should never be willing to die for someone entertainment.

This is what I've been saying since the porter fight, it's the only reason why fighters don't let there hands go.

Adrien scared to death of something happening to him. The Hot 97 shyt had me tripped out. nikka was speaking on how he saw a clip on YouTube of a fighter go into a coma MINUTES after finishing a fight. He said the fighter was in a coma for 10 months.

Even on his snapcahat all you seen was him hugged up with his kids. Its easy for people to yapp about what he needs and needed to do but I can't even fathom what kind of stress he was under. At the end of the day who want to end up as a vegetable?

Broner for ever my nikka :lawd:

If he can't take the risk he needs to leave the business.
I understand mentally where he is coming from, loving his family, not wanting to lose that, he lost the fighters edge, time for him to hang it up.

Breh that is not an excuse, we can use that excuse to every fighter that loses.

Marcos just hit him with something to think about that fight and till this day he's still thinking about it.. however he felt that day from the punch he never wants to feel that way again, he's a cracked egg now.

Exactly.

Mikey was much better defensively than I thought he was previously too. He slipped tons of punches and had AB hitting air:wow:

These threads are always ridiculous after a AB lost. He lost to an elite guy (who I don't think a lot of people here have familiarity with based on what im reading), and it's just all kinds of assumptions being thrown around when AB wasn't even suppose to win this fight.

AB trained his ass off and fought like he always does.

I would like to see him be open to the idea of putting together a new team. Maybe focus on a lower tier belt (NABF or something), fight in your hometown to make money, and work on your skills. Wait for 140 to clear up (when Crawford moves on). Make a final run at a major title and retire.

Malignaggi said it himself during the fight, AB is very sharp tonight & in great shape physically...but Garcia is just another level.

AB needs to switch teams and join with a great coach. Neither Mike Stafford, Kevin Cunningham, nor Barry Hunter has ever shown they can train an elite fighter yet and AB's stagnating with them.

Make the full-time switch to TMT and Floyd Sr could help him improve in switching from offense to defense.
