Even old timers fought over matched opponents during their championship reigns:mjpls:

because they fought so often. in this era where you choose your own fights and fight a couple of times a year, whats the excuse for fighting overmatched opponents?

Old timers also include those fighting in the 70s which is over 40+ years ago....Larry Holmes defended his WBC Championship against Scott LeDoux (26-8-4 at the time of the fight) and came into the ring 1-2-1 in his previous 4 fights. I could go on and on breaking down old timers resume, but there's no need too, because it's just a click away:sas1:

Also, since Broner had become Champion for the 1st time 53 months ago, he's faced 13 opponents over that span....which is almost an average of 4 fights a year. :mjpls:

Even going back to the last 13 months (including Theophane), this would be his 4th fight in 13 months...what you mean "a couple times a year"? We talkin bout AB here:ufdup:

How so? The guy isn't even in the top 30.

He's ranked 15th in the world by the WBA:sas2:

Two layups back to back :jagsdahell:

Khabib Allakhverdiev, the former champion, was a layup?:dwillhuh:

Tell that to Joan Guzman & Jessie Vargas:mjpls:

Come April 2nd, 2016...Broner will already have had 35 career bouts in 7 years. That's 5 fights a year which is on par with the average boxer from the 70s and 80s:mjpls:

For receipts, just check any Champions of the 70s and 80s and see how many of them averaged 6 fights or more year since their debut to the end of their careers:sas1:

That's cool and all....but most boxers of the 70s/80s started their careers fighting in the 60s and 70s.:sas2:

you were talking about broners first 7 years which is all we can account for tho. you cant take broners first 7 year average against fighters whole career averages.

broner fighting 35 times in 7 years is not impressive or even active in this era let alone in past eras.you just throw the truth out the window because you are a stan.

Name 15 Champions from the 70s/80s who had 36 or more bouts within their first 7 years:mjpls:

This was just plain stupid. :snoop:

Name 10 Champions today who have had 35 or more bouts within their first 7 years.

Hell, Kell Brook only has 36 fights (including the one next month).....and this dude been boxing for 11 years already which is 4 years longer than Broner:ufdup:

you presented this "fact" to me so im waiting to see the reciepts. i dont have to research anything because im not the one claiming a fact. you really dont think there are 15 champions from the 70s and 80s who had more than 35 fights in their first 7 years? :laff:

delusional.
