word. whats crazy is a lot of the lyrics and music were written years ago, well before the current social/political climate. It's like he knew almost. I think this is one of those albums that you can play ten, twenty years from now and the lyrics will still be relevant, like a What's Goin On or Curtis Mayfields first album or Marley & Fela's shyt...i aint comparing D to them in no way lol...i'm just saying the themes from their era still strike in the people. To me, that's what music is really about.Wow. This album....
Culture, art, us, we needed this. With all the shyt going on... This album just reminded me what was important... It's like dude is watching shyt like ferguson, the wars, thots, ISIS, death, despair, pain, everywhere etc...
