Switching favorite songs constantly, but after some digestion and after following along to the lyrics booklet I'm stuck on "Til Its Done" right now

It may not jump out to you at first but charade is the best song on the album..... anyone agree?

This is crazy to me too cause 1000 deaths, the door and "til it's done" especially sound like they could be leftovers from instant vintage by saddiq.
By the way, how would you compare both albums? Both are classics to me.

brehs D'Angelo was supposed to release this in 2015 but he went into overdrive the past several weeks after the Ferguson decision and many of the employees heard the album for the first time on this past Sunday

For almost 15 years, the long-teased third album from the embattled soul singer D’Angelo came not at all. Then, on Sunday, the album — “Black Messiah” — came all at once, debuting at an industry listening party in the sleek rooftop lounge of a Manhattan hotel.
The writer Nelson George, who introduced the record and broke the news of its imminent commercial arrival, said some employees of RCA, D’Angelo’s label, were only then hearing the album for the first time. Before midnight, “Black Messiah” was available on iTunes, and by Monday the CD was in stores.
D’Angelo and RCA, partly inspired by the nationwide protests over the police killings of unarmed black men, had moved up the release of “Black Messiah” and spent the past month working many all-nighters to decide everything from the track list to the album art, according to interviews with D’Angelo’s collaborators and confidants.

dude is a perfectionist....hinted he still wanted to do certain tweaks to the album....I just gotta laugh and smile because alot of these legendary great artists are the same in that way...that is actually a good sign he still wanted to make tweaks...other artists in today's climate would be hyping themselves and saying it can't get no better and its the best they ever made
