There are a number of conservatives that believe that Plan B is a form of abortion, you've got pharmacists refusing to sell it.

They got pissed at the pope for promoting condom use to lower the rate of STIs.

What does any of that have to do with living within means of this 6weeks law while in that legal jurisdiction?
(Especially given there are multiple pharmacist [stand alone & within big box stores] in any given area)

the democratic party is a big-tent party, they aren't as uniform as republicans.

This. If you vote Republican you are likely staunchly for some wedge issue all else be damned. Democrats have to cater to a lot of things and they constantly purity test each other I have to deal with corporatists versus moderates versus social equity above everything versus hard-core environmentalist etc. etc. etc.

If you speak to enough Republicans you will see that they don’t care much in depth what the issues are just that abortion or guns or anti-socialism or some other motivating factor is on the agenda of who they vote for. Single issue voters to the max. Much easier to vote when you don’t care about the content or platform of who you were voting for just how they appear to be.

Not really science.

Our government definitely isn't perfect but that's not true, sure we pick and choose on certain issues but the laws are mostly secular or at the very least pluralist, which this abortion vote isn't.

It's a slippery slope, just a slow erosion of rights for women, it was originally 12 weeks.
