Kendrick did nothing wrong
The thing is, them nikkas ain’t really friends like that.
For one, he was throwing plenty of subs at Kendrick before 7 minute drill came out. That song was just an excuse to say how he and his whole camp been feeling the whole time.
He hiding behind that I don’t wanna lose a bro bullshyt because it’s convenient. Wale spanked him for the same shyt a while back, Kendrick would have too if he hadn’t fallen on his on his on sword but much worse.
If I’m Dot I’m loading up on him because now the fans can’t make it seem like I kicked him after he laid down.
I think the opposite though. I don’t think Cole’s verses on 7 Minute Drill are how he and his camp really feel. Cole has praised To Pimp A Butterfly in years past so there’s no way he actually feels that album is boring or bad or overrated. Cole’s true feelings are more than likely what he said standing on that stage.
The PROBLEM is that wrote the song, recorded the song, mixed the song, mastered the song, and RELEASED the song without even checking the temperature beforehand with Kendrick. He talked to Kendrick when the Control verse came out and got confirmation it wasn’t personal so why not do so before you hop into the biggest battle of the era?
fukk all that. You drop a diss song you STAND on that diss song, no matter how you really “feel”. Jay-Z in no way thought It Was Written was an ehh album and Nas was no longer top ten, but he stood on it. He got his ass beat but he still on his words. Kendrick, even if he truly in hies heart didn’t mean to offend Cole, still flipped Cole’s own lines against him and Drake with the “fukk the big three. Its just big me!”. He’s telling you, that despite friendship or “brotherhood” that he’s better than you and even the THOUGHT of you being comparable to him is offensive. Those are gauntlet throwing, globe slapping, battle-ready words. Cole had EVERY RIGHT to respond and he chose that path instead of checking in. So be a man and stand on that shyt.

This would've been the absolute perfect thing to do.Does he speak on how he ended up on the 6:16 song?
Facts, I always got that impression but I wouldn't have took the shyt down either. Just left it up and told Kendrick handle the Drake shyt first. Me and you will do ours on a track together or something cause it's not deep. Would have told the fans that Kendrick and Drake got the main event, Drake done mentioned the brothers wife and everything so I'm stepping out of it for now and I have nothing to do with him putting Dot's family in the mix. Me and Kendrick will compete later on but let Kendrick and Drake got at it, I'll be back later lol.
Never. Lolwhen did Wale spank cole?
when did Wale spank cole?
GospelI'm sure De La Soul feels like they're the best....but nobody expects them to battle because they don't convey it the same way Cole does.
It takes a specific combination of words and attitude for fans to want that from you. Cole fed into that until it got inconvenient for him.
Fred.
I don't think Cole is a snake or shadynikkas so fukking CYNICAL
Cole has been the same person from the jump in this whole situation. He is friends with both of them and felt legitimately caught in the middle. He was just trying to rap and his friends wanted to destroy each other's lives, LITERALLY!
I don't get why everybody wants Cole to be somehow different from the person that he seems to be.
Daylyt confirmed that Cole is a real solid nikka and still people were searching for a way to make him into the bad guy.
Soul has come out and said, wasn't no sneak dissing and again that Cole is a real nikka and showed them love ALWAYS.
And I scroll through the thread it's the same nikkas with the same opinions despite people directly involved with the situation saying otherwise.
At this point, it don't matter who says what. If it's not that Cole is shady or he a snake or he a fake, nikkas just gonna brush it aside.
It's like the thought of being a "real nikka" AND a genuine person can't possibly go together.

"What side of my bi-racial friend is calling me they nikka?"
Point being, there is a pattern of him subbing his "friends" as well as popping shyt and apologizing. Not everybody is THAT COOL with you to jeff like that.
