This dude is rich...does he not have access to a boat at Bostn Harbor? Get on a boat, go about a mile or two out and throw the gun in the water. :manny:

If the times of the altercation and the murders and all that are true. It all happened too fast, he really didn't plan it out at all. Then he was doing drugs, probably panicked and did the best he could.

The Rolling Stone feature is the best longform story I've read in some time.

Amazing work by those reporters.

I was interested to read the story, and it's always good to read a lengthy article on a fascinating subject, but the article fell a little short to me, too many uncomfortable references like 'bottles and models', and a few others that felt kind of mocking in a unsubtle way, and added nothing to the story. Also, relying heavily on unnamed sources, and not backing up those claims....still was a great read, and I believe a lot of what I read, esp. was insightful, and something I thought too, from the b beginning, Aaron wasn't REALLY into the street shyt, and had limited experience with it, during his 'formative years', thats why he was out there the way he was.

Even unnamed sources have to be backed up by at least one other source before anything they say is reported. It's not as nonchalant as you think. Especially somewhere like Rolling Stone.

Also, the "bottles and models" and loose writing is just the way Rolling Stone rolls. And if you consider it "mocking" it's because it is. Buying $400 dollar bottles of Grey Goose and attracting bottle rats with it deserves to be mocked...especially when you contrast it with the seriousness of the crime he's accused of.

Just mocking in a childish...? juvenile way? LIke someone who doesn't really understand that subculture/lifestyle, just a small thing I noticed...You're right about the unnamed sources though, esp. considering how much sense a lot of their contributions made, I can see smoking dust blunts having a role in his increasing paranoia and reckless overall behavior...However, I did notice that they referred to Odin Lloyd as not being a drug dealer, or a gangster, while I agree in theory, I think it's very likely he was at least working with some insignificant amount of weed, and AH did some business with him, regarding that, in a very casual/non businesslike manner.

Wake.
According to a source close to Hernandez, he flew to the NFL Combine in Indianapolis this past February and confided to Belichick that his life was in danger. Hernandez was trying to break away from the gangsters he’d befriended. He worried “they were actually trying to kill him,” says the source. Hernandez began arming himself, stashing a rifle in his gym bag and installing a 14-camera security system at his mansion.

Mortified, Hernandez returned to Boston; Belichick, per a close Hernandez associate, had told him to lay low, rent a safe house for a while.

:merchant:

Belichick gonna end up having to testify in court I think.
