Mark Chmura, Ray Lewis, Mike Vick, off the top of my head, I'm sure there's more. This is definitely something an NFL player can recover from, just needs to show remorse and do the time. If they can keep it to one murder charge, and claim it was a crime of passion, he could be out in less than 7 years, and still be in the L.

mike vick killed people now???

Ray Lewis' situation is way different. People who compare this shyt to Ray Lewis are stupid. :really:

Dude got stabbed up, I think somebody died if I remember correctly, and the murder weapon along with the clothes that night went to da bushes :birdman: Main difference was that Ray's people don't talk and they were smart enough to get rid of all the evidence.

As far as Mike Vick, I could have sworn one of his boys who switched sides when the dog fighting incident hit showed up at one of his birthday parties, and got shot. Regardless, he didn't die. Point is you can come back from this sh*t. What he needs to do is get it over with quickly. The longer it drags out, the more it will cost him, and more likely the stiffer the penalty. Do the time, get it over with. :obama:

You can get life in Massachusetts for a crime of passion? If it was premeditated, maybe 10-15, but I don't think it's 25-to-life. Unless of course they will tie more than one murder to him, in which case :lupe:

those cats aren't even close. none of them violently killed a person with a weapon. there are 0 convicted violent murderers in the league. ah will not be the first either. at least not while goodell is commish.

the closest would be donte stallworth. and even though he was convicted of dui manslaughter he did the best thing possible to help his situation by immediately taking responsibility. he didn't fight the case or anything. completely man'd up and owned his mistake. it doesn't hurt that the circumstances of the accident were kind of in his favor. and he settled with the family without giving them the runaround.

two guys got stabbed to death and they instigated the fight. ray was convicted of perjury and obstruction for trying to protect his peoples. his co-defendants were found not guilty of murder by reason of self defense. ray did settle a civil suit with the guys who got killed instead of trying to drag it out, which would have made him look worse.

ah still has to stand trial, but it doesn't look good. the closest he may ever get to the league again is from the other side of the tv. damn shame.

Nah dude ain't getting out. A noted gangbanger with multiple bodies to his name, it's a wrap.

He's actually lucky it was in Mass because this is some death penalty right here

Planned out for weeks with a strategy - premeditated

Mad about your friend, grab the burner, pick him up and murk him - can be argued to be a crime of passion. A good lawyer can get it done :whew:

After seeing Odin's funeral photos, I feel bad about all the roasting I did. Somebody father, brother, and son did loose their life over primarily nothing :to:
