I'm not old enough to have watched Joe Greene play but Aaron Donald is the best defensive player I've ever seen. He gets my vote.

Joe Greene. Pittsburg was trash until he got their. Was the best defensive player on arguably the greatest defense in nfl history, the steel curtain, and has 4 super bowl rings.

Donald was individually great but he aint anchor an all time great defense for years like Joe did and he don't have 4 rings like Joe does.

Defense was different, not a ton of passing, you could harass a wr up the field.
it was his size and power along with angling him at the los as the nose directly on the center that put offenses in a tizzy, if you put ad at that position at that time he’d do the same, not sure JG could do the same in todays offense, and that’s no knock on him

I'd go MJG, but there's a reason why Madden players always keep Randle on there roster. Randle was a beast on the field, and uas actually become a very underrated player. I picked MJG because he was the heart and soul of arguably the greatest defense ever.
