millennial also liked the pre boomerang split since I'm a fan of all the old cartoons they use to show.

What Cartoon Network had in its millennial era would compete with prime '90s Nickelodeon and prime 90's Fox Kids for GOAT cartoon era, period.

And as a guy born in the mid 80s who grew up on Nickelodeon (Rugrats, Doug, Ahhh Real Monsters, Ren Stimpy, Rocko, etc) and Fox Kids (MMPR, X-Men, Spidey, Batman TAS -before it moved to WB-, etc)... cartoon network brought the HEAT that was just as impactful on me as a teenager as Nick/Fox were on me as a kid.

Shout out to 90's WB too, they had their share of bangers as well. Loved Tiny Toons

I'm going gen Y for the simple fact I could watch Looney Tunes and other old cartoons there. There was a good mix of old stuff and new stuff and they found a way to make it all work. Plus things like celebrating Bugs Bunny's birthday, the creation of cartoon cartoon, space ghost coast 2 coast, swat kat reruns, etc. When Cartoon Network first started and they just needed programming and minded whatever Turner owned, that was their apex for me.

Of course that's also the time when I was a kid in elementary school and going into middle school so my opinion is clearly biased on that one
