True crime is huge in entertainment, it always being #1 in podcasts. These tv/movie companies have been rolling them out back to back to back because of it.

I know this is grounded in wrestling but because the story is so tragic it leans towards true crime territory

it's A24...their movies don't typically run the box office and that is one of the selling points ironically. They make "niche" artistic films that rely on awards and cult followings.

They became my favorite movie studio when Everything Everywhere All at Once came out earlier this year. That film is :wow:.
