Maybe a better way to describe it is “Scribblenaut, the movie” with a back story of a woman learning to appreciate her family more.

I still recommend catching it in theaters to get the full “experience”

This movie was great brehs. I enjoyed the family aspect being explored metaphorically as it heightened a lot of the action scenes. It didn’t feel like 2 and a half at all as the pacing and storyline kept me engaged throughout. Recommended watch.

It’s aight….but it also deserves the hype

I get why it’s hyped because it’s a “experience” movie kind of like Gravity and Avatar was a few years back because it uses the theater medium very well. I rather see it in theaters twice than buy it on blueray.

So, I do recommend seeing it in theaters if possible because its clearly made to be seen in the theater. However, it’s not something I expect people to say… I got bored so I popped “everything, everywhere all at once” on my TV or for there to be deep discussions about the films meaning or a particular characters motive. It’s a visual masterpiece and an original idea which is cool because we don’t see enough of those in Hollywood.

Its not going to reinvent Sci-Fi… but it should be up to win awards.

Copped tickets to watch it today in theaters off your post. I been waiting on this movie since the trailer dropped and initially was just gonna stream it.

Yeah that’s a good move. Part of the movie’s appeal is based on “visually overwhelming” the audience and if you can pause that…. It won’t work. Plus they do a few other things that work based on it being viewed in a theater.

Definitely recommend the theater experience for this flick. When they change the aspect ratio depending on what universe/timeline you are watching

film was hella fun and should at least be nominated for Original Screenplay if not win.

Michelle Yeoh's New Role Was Originally Written for Jackie Chan, Reveal Movie's Directors

Everyone did their thing, but if this was a movie about Jackie and his Son, with Michelle as the wife

then wow
it woulda hit harder for me personally.

It so innovative it doesn't even feel fatiguing. Its truly incredible.
