Overall I heard it compared to Magnolia so that works for me.

The film would been better if they just followed the Son’s storyline the whole time. The daughter’s story wasn’t interesting enough to carry the second half. The film suffers greatly when the son and his girlfriend exit the story. I still liked it a lot tho.

Saw this yesterday.

Was very impressed, been a while since I've seen a movie where you can feel a lurching sense of doom gathering.

Very, very Malick some beautiful moments. I love how peaceful the second half of the film is.
