A young nikka on da deans list

I’m late asl posting dis cuz the new semester already started but ion be on here much anymore. Anyways I made da deans list !!

Lil baccground: I’m 30 years old and originally attended the university of Georgia (go dawgs)! But in my later years I was constantly in and out of jail and spent a semester in jail and never went bacc started working at Amazon.

Well now I’m on older and lil bit more mature and know I want to be a psychiatric nurse. I’m bipolar and schizophrenic which I have displayed on here at times. But I’ve been stable for about 3 years. I’ve been in a lot of psyc wards in Atlanta, chicago and VA and I’ve seen the work psyc nurses do and thinc id be good at it.

This semester I’m taking anatomy and microbiology smh wish me lucc dis anatomy class gone be a bytch, I ain’t too worried about microbiology but I know it’s gone be hard

But whoever woulda thought a felon wit face tattoos would be on da deans list at a respectable school ?!?

Nawl it’s jus da way I type on da internet! Obviously I ain’t make da deans list typing to my professors like dis doe !!! But I feel like typing like dis sets a certain tone cuz the way I type is how I talk. Unless I’m in a professional setting ofc !

I’m on first offenders in Georgia since it was my first felony.So I can get it expunged after I complete probation. I finished paying off my restitution yesterday, and I finished my community service. But technically they said I need to take counseling which I ain’t done. But I see a psychiatrist and I had them write a note saying I’m seeing them so hopefully I can use dat.

But I talked to a the charge nurse last time I was in a psyc was last year (it was just cuz I hadn’t sleep in 2 days and when u dont sleep symptoms start to appear) he said wit my felony I can’t work in psyc but I could work in da ER but ion wanna be an ER.

shyt I’m just taking it one day at a time. Before I started school at VCU dey had to have a council meet and determine if I was eligible wit my felony to enroll. If dey let me talk to someone I can explain myself but shyt even Amazon, Walmart, Lowe’s and UPS just denied me after dat baccground checc.

I also got 4 face tattoos dat I like…I’ll get em removed if I have too but ima have to learn how to put on make up!

I’m just taking it one day at a time !! Who knows if I can even pass anatomy to get into nursing school !!

They made me interview with the schools lawyer about my record. It happened so long ago that I honestly forgot about it until they caught it on a background check. There are specific types of crimes that they just won't allow, such as embezzlement or abuse - so be aware.

I had gun charges. They let me through. Keep working hard bro.
