You arent too far in the semester by February. If you are already getting Cs, its not going to get better before the final. I encourage you to be goal oriented and strategic about getting that gpa by any means to get into the program.

Id highly reccomend withdrawing and taking that single course at an easier institution or within the same institution with a better teacher that will let you float. A W-grade won't affect your gpa as badlly as that C- or D will.

If you insist on doing every single course at the same institution, then you can take this entire semester to prestudy so that you can at least guarantee yourself a B by fall or Summer due to the extra time with the material. This is what i mean about being strategic.

Yea one girl told me to take it at a community college too. I got until march 28th to withdraw so ima wait until then to see how im doing.. but I agree making Cs this early ain’t good.. but there plenty of folks who did worse on da first exam and ended up getting Bs and As so it’s not impossible.

Microbiology is also a hard class and I have an A in that right now so clearly I’m putting in work

OP I never studied anatomy academically, but I do study it for art (comics). Even if you don't know how to draw I absolutely recommend illustrating as a great way to memorize anatomy for fun. You can draw arms, legs, etc from any angle and label each muscle group and strand yourself. And have fun doing it! Hell Jim Lee, one of my idols of 90s style comic illustration, became an artist while studying medical science and anatomy in school. You might pick up a wonderful new hobby on the way! And no, you don't need a special-born brain to learn illustration.

Figure Drawing for all it's worth, Burne Hogarth anatomy studies, and the work of George Bridgeman are fun anatomy studies for art,.

A lot of people are dumb. Respectfully edit: or just don’t make it a priority bc of other life shyt.

It was a real check for you. Study more. Anatomy is a book and pictures telling you what to memorize. Not like you gotta use your brain to calculate anything. Just visualize and memorize my nikka, you got this.

I’m sure studying more could be the simple answer to every class from computer science, engineering, science

I enjoyed my a&p classes a lot. But I went into them with a general interest in the subject, so it never seemed difficult or daunting. I imagine there are way more study tools today than when I took them. Exhaust your options and find what works best breh breh.

I would post screenshots of the lab quiz but we’re not suppose too and sum petty Coli breh could find and report me. But like they asked which muscle it was on the forearm and sometimes I can’t tell if it’s talking about a deep or superficial muscle so I get it wrong even tho I have my lab manual labeled with all the muscles using the textbook and videos provided

It sounds like you just need to spend more time studying/memorizing their location and functions. Make some flash cards and spend at least an hour a day studying them.

And have you tried searching for the questions on quizlet? A lot of teachers use the same question/answer set, they just change the wording slightly.

I took A&P in high school and college. Straight A's!

Its not hard, you gotta. Break everything down into groups by area and write it down. Watch A&P youtube videos too.

Mane she uses pictures and diagrams I can’t even find in a google image search, I can only find related pictures. For A&P1 or human physiology his questions were found on pass quizlets but for this anatomy class it’s all short answer no multiple choice. Or select all the correct choices. One time we had to label the flow of blood from the heart to the foot and we had it put like 20 options in da right order with no partial credit. I got it right but still lol

I’m taking it now along with medical microbiology. Medical microbiology is going fine I got an A. I got a damn 75% in anatomy shyt hard asl !! I decided to take it online because I didn’t want to stay on campus all day and because I thought online would be easier. But got damn !! First day of class in da syllabus our professor talmbout “this class is not any easier because it’s online” and she was right our first exam was 77 questions no multiple choice and u couldn’t just type the question in to ChatGPT to get da answers. I want atleast a B in dis class so I can get into nursing school. I still got time my first exam I got a 74 next exam is next Tuesday im trying. Any tips?

All our exams are open book and notes but these questions too damn hard !
I had the class in high school Aced it, teacher told me I need to pursue medicine.

But in comparison to your experience that was high school and college is very different.

You can do this

You just answered your own question. :skip:
You got the answer right because you memorized the material. A&P is literally just memorization. I got A’s in all my A&P courses because I put all the material on flash cards and memorized the cards. Your class is open book so it should be even easier. Just spend more time studying.
