Kuminga has the potential to be the star of the draft – or the biggest disappointment. He is the most dynamic high-end prospect since at least Wiggins in 2014, and maybe beyond. He is longer than Wiggins, which could translate to exceptional defense if he’s interested.

Kuminga is not a shooter, though, at least not yet. Pre-draft scouting video showed he’s clearly worked on his jumper. His form is tighter and more sound, but the action still looks somewhat uncomfortable, like he’s still getting used to it, still is thinking about each rep. If it takes, he’s a tremendous prospect. If it wavers, he’s a useful piece, but not a top player on a winning team.

Weaknesses
  • Isn’t yet a consistent 3pt shooter
  • Has to develop his feel for the game and making his teammates better
  • Needs to develop his ball handling and get more creative with his drives, since he won’t be able to overpower NBA defenders as much.
  • Isn’t a great FT shooter.

:unimpressed: The exact opposite of what this team is missing

I'm not sure if Kuminga was the right pick but he does seem to have all the tools to be a great player. He's just extremely raw, hopefully breh has the right work ethic to elevate his game :yeshrug:
I would've loved Josh Giddey on this team but he was gone at #6. I like the Moses Moody pick at #14 :ehh:

This is me too...

Edit: I didn't really want Kuminga, but most of the mocks had him gone by 7....

I'm betting he's a trade piece but we'll see what else happens.

Moody at 14 is a no brainer IMO..

Do we have a definitive number on Moody's wingspan?

i've heard 7'1, 6'11. and 7'0
