Maybe we are blind homers over at Warriors Reddit but everyone is excited about our picks over there while y’all are ready to commit suicide over here. Let’s give these young cats a chance.
In isolation, they're both good picks for rebuilding; it'd be a great night for any team that has been loitering in the lottery, given both players were projected to go higher than they did. But as you know, this team isn't rebuilding. Neither of them, just like Wiseman, will be contributing anything meaningful if this team has any hope of making a playoff run.

I'm not sure if Kuminga was the right pick but he does seem to have all the tools to be a great player. He's just extremely raw, hopefully breh has the right work ethic to elevate his game :yeshrug:
I would've loved Josh Giddey on this team but he was gone at #6. I like the Moses Moody pick at #14 :ehh:

I'm definitely old enough to remember those drafts, but I don't feel like these past 2 drafts are anything close that. Quite the opposite in my opinion as those guys were safe, good guy pics. These are more raw talent/athleticism picks.
I’m 30 I remember the dark days but people are all over the place. Some fans saying trade the pick regardless. Now the narrative is changing to we took the wrong guy.

It just feels like the wrong type of prospect for what this team needs. They need players to plug in so this current roster and fight for the championship and instead it's like they drafted players who won't be ready until the window is closed.

I'm 44 and I remember:francis:

It's not a dry spell any of these current cats wanna go through. The arena used to be dry as fukk and they were literally giving tickets away.

Wiseman and Kuminga need reps, patience and time to develop into whatever it is they will be. Does anyone see them getting enough of that on this team, while simultaneously trying to maximize wins?

This is why Bron burns all the young guys on every team he goes to, because he understands you can't develop players and win at the same time.

Moody can contribute immediately, he’ll be wide open
