32.5% for his career; 26% in the playoffs including 28% in the title season with Kawhi. He's not a shooter.
Draymond's three point shooting numbers were looking better after 2016 and we know how that's turned out.
You're being disingenuous and you know it.
You don't take his career percentage when he only started regularly taking threes a few seasons ago; a shot that he only integrated into his skillset once he became a full-time starter. Draymond's best season he only took 3.2 attempts per game, whereas Siakam attempted DOUBLE that and hit them at similar percentage. Siakam had a 60/40 split on C&S and pull-up threes, which demonstrated his ability to self-create offense beyond the arc and in pop actions; Draymond's threes were a 90/10 split, most of which were wide-open when his man helped on Steph.
The volume, efficiency and situation equivalent would be comparing Steph to Jaylen Brown.
Siakam is a legitimate scorer and one of the better shooting big men. His efficiency takes a bump when he has to solely create for himself as the main threat on offense. He's not going to have that issue playing alongside Steph and Klay.
What is the alternative to not bringing in someone like Siakam? Heading into the season with Wiseman at the 5 and wasting another year?
