Team was going nowhere last year after Steph's injury, it made sense to move them when they were gonna be FAs after the season. They would have been perfect fits with a healthy Steph, we never got to see them work out the early kinks like we did with Steph this year.
Cause he knows pretty soon people will be looking at his contract...
I don't mind Baze in a reduced role, dude was productive on a veteran's minimum salary, he just had to play too much with Klay going down and Oubre being a dud and then injured. In an ideal world Poole is playing more than him and then Klay comes back in early 2022.
