Also I used to get bummed out thinking about how old Draymond is getting in terms of how many years he has left but JTA looks like he will fill that role nicely. His passing and overall BBIQ is insane. He's basically Draymond with way better offense. His 3 point shot is reliable and I rarely see him miss layups around the rim when he cuts to the hoop. I'll give Draymond credit though, while JTA plays great defense he will probably never be the perennial top 5 DPOY candidate that Draymond is.

What block you from breh? I don't think there's another team that's higher on the list of 'teams that I'd rather not play in a one game series' than us to be fair.

That said, I know we're not going to win the chip this year so I'm good with whatever happens.

Next year tho?

Yeah we been saying he’s Draymond with a better jump shot lmaoo

both of them in the line up unlocks the offense.. wait till Klay get back tho

Next season we get Klay byke at some point and I'm going to hope for the best and say he's healthy enough to start. Blessings up.

We know we're keeping our own pick and for argument sake, we also get Minny's pick. I ran a tankathon sim and it has us getting that at #6 & #17 so that's what I'm using (they have us taking Scottie Barnes and Josh Giddey in this one).

Do we have a shot at trading up into the top 3? I don't see us with room for 2 additional rookies.

I've got 10 players up there to keep so we need 4 or 5 more with two of them on 2 ways.

I don't know what happens with Oubre but I like @Don Homer 's trade for Lonzo and Indiana is interesting to me as it feels like they are primed for a 'ready to make some moves' off season IMO. I'm also not opposed to keeping him if he's willing to play off the bench.

Here's along the lines of what I'm thinking:

EP- trade bait if possible
Smiley- Cut and if they still believe, bring him back to the GLeague.
Mulder- 2way or trade bait
Nico- 2way

I'd like to see Chriss back and we definitely need another vet.

Writing has been on the wall for that for a while imo. He would rather go somewhere and get paid and get his shots up like Detroit.

so I dont follow the draft closely. I did once we we had the number 2 pick last season. But this season, idk anyone besides Suggs, Cunningham, Jalen Green, and that other dude thats 7 feet tall

That Giddey guy seems interesting, even tho i have not much idea what he's about. A 6ft8 point guard? Sounds like another LaMelo lol. I feel like the NBL gets players NBA ready more than any other league (considering LaMelo and Jessup)

I still say we should open ourselves up to trade talks, and if we can get players that are more ready to contribute to winning a chip, we should take them over drafting the young talent. I've talked about trying to get Mason Plumlee for wiseman. I dont know how u feel about that, but if we can attach a future 2nd rounder, we can prolly get him :yeshrug: I know it might not be popular, but im just thinking we need to make moves now since we are finally getting the Splash Bros back together

Also, do u think Oubre is enough for Lonzo by himself? Bc if he isn't, can't we draft that Giddey guy, and throw him in the deal for Lonzo? I feel like that works for both sides, right?

EP - gotta trade at this point. Missed too much time, complete ball stopper, not great on defense
Smiley - u already know how i feel. Cut his ass. He's not even worth a 2-way in my eyes. if we can get a trade going, try and throw him in the deal just to get a free roster spot opening.
Nico - 2 way
Lee/Mulder - trade bait. no reason to have BOTH on the team. They play the exact same role
Baze - trade bait. Does entirely too much on the court. he's also 6'4 playing the Small Forward position. we'd be like portland and the norman powell situation. only worse cuz Baze isnt better than Norman Powell. Possible Fill-ins: GR3. Danuel House Jr, Iguodala?

just some things to think about
