He is not getting close to that...I just don't understand the logic of saying "I know this guy has the best physical tools, has the highest upside, and was the consensus best player coming out of high school and predicted to be the number 1 pick but I just don't think you can get him to develop into anything but Hassan Whiteside"
Fred Vanvleet is 5'11, went undrafted and is about to get 100 million this offseason solely because he worked hard and the Raptors developed him.
