RUMOR: Warriors Aren't High On James Wiseman In NBA Draft

Dude said the number 1 high school prospect ceiling is Mitchell Robinson or Hassan Whiteside:mjlol:

They said AD was Marcus Camby when he came out and wouldn't be a franchise player:mjlol:

Dwight Howard a HOF with no postgame, no jump shot, being a poor free throw shooter, and 6-9 without shoes:mjlol:

yup

i've said it before, but i really wanna see what happens to those 2 late 2nd picks we have in this coming draft. Bob Myers talked about rounding out the roster with them a few months ago.

those talking points are garbage :mjlol:

Man, lets just take the big man. He is clearly build to guard multiple positions. He's the new type of NBA big

I just don't understand the logic of saying "I know this guy has the best physical tools, has the highest upside, and was the consensus best player coming out of high school and predicted to be the number 1 pick but I just don't think you can get him to develop into anything but Hassan Whiteside" :mjlol:

Fred Vanvleet is 5'11, went undrafted and is about to get 100 million this offseason solely because he worked hard and the Raptors developed him.

Chriss was almost out of the league and we turned him to an actual rotation piece:gucci:

People put so much pressure on these teenagers to be star right out the gate smh. But at the same time they wanna lower the drafting age so that high schoolers can go straight to the draft again.:unimpressed:.

completely agree

Chriss is someone who wasnt supposed to be a power forward. His route was like Montrezl Harrell's: Undersized big that does more damage in the post.

Wiseman is the guy we need. I'm not for that "play small 100%" of the time shyt. Get the athletic rim runner. Get him to work on his shot like you're supposed to do in player developement. If he can take midrange shots and hit a 3 every now and then, i'm sold.

I'm gonna treat Wiseman as if he's a player coming straight out of high school because that's basically what he is.

Kevin Garnett: 6'11, 250, 5th pick in the 1995 NBA Draft (GSW picked Joe Smith number 1)

Senior year high school stats: 25.2 ppg/ 17.9 rpg/ 6.7 assists/ 6.5 bpg

Rookie year stats: 10.4 ppg/ 6.3 rpg/ 1.8 assists/ 1.6 bpg

2nd year: 17 ppg/ 8 rpg/ 3.1 assists/ 2.1 bpg

Dwight Howard: 6'10, 250, 1st pick in 2004 NBA Draft (GSW picked Andris Biedrins 11th)

Senior year high school stats: 25 ppg/ 18 rpg/ 8 bpg

Rookie year stats: 12 ppg/ 10 rpg/ 1.7 bpg

2nd year: 15.8 ppg/ 12.5 rpg/ 1.4 bpg

James Wiseman: 7'1, 240

Senior year high school stats: 25.8 ppg/ 14.8 rpg/ 5.5 bpg

Dwight and Wiseman were both Gatorade Player of the Year in their respective draft classes.

Players to win GPOY since 2002:

Kevin Love
Jrue Holiday
Brandon Knight 2x
