Bullshyt.

At the the end of the day players play no matter what situation there in.

Trade them places and Alex smith is not even in the league.

Oh really, so no matter the situation players are just going to be who they were.

So Aaron Rodgers would have been great if he was in David Carr's position?

Get real.

Get real.

Carr held on to the ball way too long, had offensive lineman screaming at him to throw that shyt.

Carr just wasn't built for the pro league, same way smith is not.. Smith is better then Carr though.

Look at the league.. Every rookie gets thrown out there and the good ones produce, either u got it or you don't.. Rodgers has it, Alex don't... But you already knew that.

Going to be a tough game playing in GB, i can't remember the last time we won there honestly. Gotta see if GB D has really improved since last year. Run the ball, control the clock, and hope the rush can get to Gawdgers.

We've had some heartbreaking losses in GB over the years. The playoff game with TO and Jeff, that Monday night game in 96, where bebe made some ridic catch at the end. Loss in 96 divisional round

I grew up hating the Packers, mostly because of Favre and the heartbreak they dropped on us.

Really don't hate them now, just think they're one of these soft ass arena teams which are annoying, all offense, no defense.

But Rodgers is the best in the game, by far.

It's going to be rough sledding up there. You summed it up, run the ball control the clock, limit turnovers and maybe force some and a big day from VD and we can come out with a W.

We need a lot to go right, maybe one of the imbecile replacement refs will give us a win

You sure are silly.

Only 5 int's in 18 games last year.

0 int's in the pre-season.

If you need INT's to win, you are going to LOSE

Whats funny is, in the run to the SB in 2010, we was getting INTs in every game including the 4 postseason games

But then again we could stop people :manny:

Last year, the 15-1 record was more of us being ahead in nearly every game and the games being done by the 4th quarter

If Rodgers gets protection, we'll win. If he gets sacked multiple times against the 49ers we'll lose as I don't trust the defense with all of the new inexperienced players.

The Giants were able to force turnovers and score off them in the playoffs, the Packers under McCarthy do not turn the ball over and his record speaks for itself.

My fear is Rodgers tries to do too much this season and start throwing INTs like his predecessor

I think we're gonna have a real hard time pulling this game out. GB has waaaaayto much to play for.

At home, after that 15-1 season and taking that bad L in the first round. We're facing a fied up team with tremendous offensive firepower in their house.

Gonna be a fight, but fukk it. You gotta knock out the big man to get respect.

The Yay
main battles will be packers offense in red zone and our offense on third downs and in the red zone.

we wont stop rodgers down the field. we never stopped good/reat QBs from going down the field last year, but we definitely limited the damage in the endzone.

rodgers is scary because the guy knows how to score in the endzone without making mistakes. also hes extremely mobile so that doesnt bode well for our D that tends to not do well against mobile qbs.

on other hand, we have to avoid turnovers on offense at any cost, but also be efficient. we do want a tight low scoring game instead of a shootout because obviously we play our game better than we do their game.

even with benson supposedly looking good, our D will make packers offense one-dimensional. with that said, forcing mistakes from rodgers will be really tough. carlos needs to be much better than he has looked and I wouldnt mind seein cox on the field in nickel and dime situations.

I agree. the team has a chip on its shoulders because they really believed they could repeat but reality humbled them mightily

i just hope they come out swinging and don't have to be woken up like in yrs past.. see 09 and 10 when GB got off to slow starts early in the season

That's what scares me, i`d rather play you guys week 14 than week 1.

There was too much humble pie served this January for you to come out flat. Same could be said for us, but it's in your building.

Last year i`d say our secondary couldn't handle you guys at all, but I have a little more faith with Parrish Cox coming in and Culliver in his 2nd year and an improved Terrell Brown.

I think it will be a very good game.
