That Common LP got way too many tracks for the ladies.

i usually hate joints "for the ladies" but i cant really say those joints are all for them...i can vibe out to that album and i dont ever feel like its aimed at women at all. i feel like the narrative of Black America Again shines more than a couple lady joints.

this is hard to decide album of the year when common just released such a solid 5/5 album !! just listened to this from front to back tho so gotta give it to the tribe ! just the little things like the same spacey sample played throughout and, the way the songs were edited in and out makes me think the fact it was a tribute to phife makes me think this is definately the one

The Source & XXL haven't mattered in 10+ years. i think that it should get 5 in The Source because it's no less than 4.5 and they could def give the other half for the fact that they did this after 18 years away. that does count for something, not many bands or groups in music let alone in Hip Hop can be away that long, not just away but broken up for a good portion of that time and still come back and make an album of this calbre.
