Not really.

As kids we had radio and broadcast TV and parents playing music. We learned about past pop culture by being exposed to it.

Now people just look at what they want on the Internet with earphones. There is a lot less random exposure.
The number of artists they have access to now is limitless…. There’s so many artists that I have songs favorited of that I don’t know the name of. Spanning multiple genres and over 50 years. The song titles I’ve commented to memory were those I heard on the radio, played via cd/tape as a youngin

Cacs been complaining about "posers" wearing band t-shirts for a long ass time it seems, I'm pretty sure some brehs complained about the same back then too

My 2nd to last ex was notorious for them dumb ass Forever 21 and H&M band shirts!


She had the Metallica, Beatles, ACDC, Nirvana, etc. shirts.

Not once did she ever listen to a song!
I told her that was some dumb shyt!

Bruh were you around in the 90's?.....music videos which almost every kid watched at that time is why nothing like this would happen back then....
