He can put it on the floor and attack the basket. He can also knock down open threes. Very unique player because guys with his skillset usually doesn't have the hops that he has. I like him more as a 3 than a 4 because he can play bully ball and defend the perimeter.

:patrice: Not sure about the whole warriors financial situation, but would cutting Jacob Evans be enough

dude has never really shown much to me

I'm one of the (few?) folks that is expecting Evans to play well this year. He was fighting an injury much of the season last year and he's got a quiet confident calmness to him that reminds me of SDot.

Recently Looney said something that made me think about Evans. He said coming onto a championship team made him play just so he wouldn't make mistakes his first few seasons. He was hesitant to make plays because of all the scorers and the teams expectations.

It took him awhile to get comfortable, once he knew he was in the regular rotation he became more comfortable playing. I can see the same thing happening with Evans.

:salute:

A great point that many people probably never see. Imagine the pressure of being a rookie/soph on the GS roster with (at the time) KD/Steph/Klay/Dray/Andre/SDot/etc.....second guess yourself much in that company? Probably very easy for a young player to feel crushed by the pressure.

On the opposite side of that tho, you have some like Poole who come in and just play ball....it can be nice to have both...

I can't think of a great player that ever came to a team that had championship expectations when he was a rookie. Big time pressure.

Yeah he needs to stay

He had an injury that messed up his confidence. We had another player that had to wait longer to blossom because of an injury. His name is Kevon Looney

I think Evans needs to stay. He was great in summer league and they've been getting him to transition to Point Guard, so i think they will keep him.

And yes, his midrange is nasty, just like Livingston. But Evans can also hit 3's
If anything, we can get rid of Bowman, and get Chriss on a 2-way, right?

Rondo

and peak Rondo was giving the Miami Heat Big 3 that WORK :wow: before D Wade bytch ass intentionally injured him :martin:

It's a lot of pressure being a rook or soph coming onto a team with championship aspirations but some nikkas got it, and some nikkas don't :manny:

something tells me Jordan Poole ain't a scary dude and he got that dog in him already,
Evan's ain't shown us shyt if we keeping it a buck and we should throw him in the bushes :yeshrug:
