Exactly. He's a backup.

He won't help y'all win next season like Ingles will. He won't get any burn down the stretch of a game on the regular. Y'all need pieces that compliment Steph, Klay and Draymond, right now, and Paschall isn't that.
Chill he will help us win next season. He averaged 15 as a rookie with no Klay or Step spacing

Lou Will and Montrezl don't start :yeshrug:

We need a solid bench
Trez and Lou Will are experienced vets who play starters minutes, and are a constant in lineups in the clutch. Paschall isn't going to have that type of role for the Warriors next season. Why keep Paschall if you can flip him for a piece that's going to help increase y'all chances of winning next season? He's more of a project who's suited to a team that's rebuilding, not one that has a closing championship-window.

Nevermind, the fact that he isn't a transcendent-type talent.

Ingles would be a backup as well tho...an expensive one at that. If Draymond helped us win as a rookie I think Paschall can help us win as a sophmore.

Ingles would still play around 25+ minutes. He can play 3/4, which would allow Draymond to play at the 5 when they go small. Y'all don't want to be running a lineup down the stretch with Chriss at the 5.

This would be the ideal lineup to run down the stretch:

Steph
Klay
Wiggins
Ingles
Draymond.

He'd play a similar role to Iggy; coming off the bench, but basically playing a starting-type role.

You make a good case but I'm not down with giving up a rookie that averaged 14 & 5 and shot 50% from the field with no spacers on the floor for Ingles.

Would be interesting to see if the front office would tho. I trust our front office.

If the Warriors get the 1st pick and the Knicks get lets say the 5th or 6th pick, I'd be perfectly content tryna swap that pick to the Knicks for Mitchell Robinson and maybe Reggie Bullock and the Warriors picking Toppin if he's there. I'm all about maximizing assets.

The disparity between the top 2 picks in this draft and the 5th is huge imo. Unless it's someone at 5 that's at the top of their draft board I'd say no.

For me it comes down to do I love any of these picks as major contributors for next season and the answer is no. I'm cool with drafting for the future but Edwards defending in a closing lineup next year scares me and Wiseman a little jumpy and that gives me Damian Jones flashbacks:mjcry:.

He could be Damian Jones or he could be Anthony Davis. I'm willing to take that chance. I'm desperate for an allstar center. As I say ad nauseam....every other team in the NBA has had an allstar center in my lifetime besides the Warriors :to:

Wiseman is way more in tune with his game then Jones was.
