As long as the GSW coaches/player development staff can emphasize defense, I think we will be in a great position.

this offseason needs to be about DEFENSE.

we don’t need to draft people that are bad defenders and can’t shoot well. We have enough of those already. I say get wiseman because we get defense and Center depth that we desperately need

we don’t have the defense and shooting power that we used to, so a “death lineup” with Wiggins and chriss replacing the original iguodala and Durant/Barnes lineup would be a terrible idea.

I trust Bob, so I hope he realizes that we are a poor defensive team (arguably the worst) right now, and making moves to get more wings and centers is the smartest move to make

It's worth the gamble to me :hubie:but you're talking to a man that keeps bringing up our history of bum ass centers. I'm desperate to see an elite one on our team. I've seen an allstar at every other position. Even Chris Gatling became an allstar when he left Golden State :martin:

There’s a serious lack of talent issue at the center position, sure wiseman is raw but he can Play defense and switch at his size. Everything else is a bonus from him especially on pick and rolls where he will finish at the rim at will. He reminds me of McGee but with way more talent. I like chriss and looney, I really like them off the bench

Same.

The way we shot the ball this past season will require a big to give us rebounding presence. Getting out-rebounded every game is gonna cost us a ton of games, especially in the playoffs.

going small is a matchup based/closing lineup. With Steph at 32 going on 33, and klay coming off an ACL injury, going small for 82 games is asking a lot.

like I said earlier, we don’t have Iguodala and Durant, so the death lineup won’t be nearly as effective. Iguodala was crucial for his wing defense, ability to lead the fast break, and be a serviceable 3pt shooter. Clearly Durant and Barnes’ ability to play good perimeter defense was also crucial.

with Wiggins and chriss, we lose the defense and shooting to make it work as well as it did in the past. Not to mention, the league has adapted. That’s why I think we need a traditional center.

looney and Chriss can come off the bench and give solid minutes.

Even if they get wiseman they still need another big body.

Was looking at pics from the 2015 and 2017 parade. So sad we lost the squad from the town and won’t even be watching them play until damn near 2021. shyt was such a vibe in the town from 2014-2019 with the warriors
There will likely never be another 5 year stretch like that for this franchise in my lifetime.

West believes Steph, Klay, Dray 'bum-rush' NBA next season

“I think they’re going to be ready to roll, honestly. …You know, I think that they’re going to be in a mode where they’re crazy enough to feel like they’ve got something to prove," David West told The Athletic's Sam Amick. "So I wouldn’t be surprised if they literally come back and … just bum-rush the league (with) the kind of thrust that they hit the league with (that’s) similar to what they did when they first sort of started. Because they’re wired that way. They are really wired to be competitive. I mean, (they’re) great guys, but literally some of the most competitive people you’ll ever be around, and willing to work to win, you know what I mean?
