Remember when the Warriors' superstar told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes the following day that he simply was recruiting the Greek Freak to team up in the online game 'PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds,' and wasn't trying to convince him to join the Warriors?
Of course you do.
Well here's what Giannis told The Athletic's Sam Amick regarding his exchange with the two-time NBA MVP:
“Yeah, yeah, but it wasn’t (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds), it was, uh, it was (NBA) 2k,” he says with a laugh about their conversation before flashing a pair of air-quote hand gestures for good measure. “Nah, I’m joking.”
Whether or not Giannis ever ends up with Golden State, the basketball world will laugh about and poke fun at Curry's explanation for years to come.
As Mallory Edens -- the daughter of Bucks owner Wes Edens -- told TMZ Sports on Sunday: "I don't think Giannis plays video games."
Going from first to worst in a span of a few months will do that. Change gon come tho.after two games at chase, i'm going to end on nice stadium - overhead court screen is waaaay too big tho, but sheesh, that crowd is so wack. crazy how the little vingettes still try to lean into the rep of roaracle when the crowd is anything but. i mean we were losing and of course the game last night felt slow and clunky on both sides, but there was zero energy there. kinda annoyed i even stayed out late in the middle of the week to attend.
last time i was there they had a band playing too short, mac dre, and other bay area songs, no one gave a fukk. that energy of going dumb outside oracle when the dj was spinning before and after games is lost forever
Breh, that crowd is dead. I grew up with losing warriors and we had so much fun at the game just on GP, the transplant tech workers going to the game don’t care about the team, nor basketball in general, being there is just for stuntin on IGGoing from first to worst in a span of a few months will do that. I was there and witnessed the same thing. I'm holding out hope that the house that Steph built will be lit once he returns but yeah I definitely got that same vibe. My only solace from going through the hassle of being there was the lobster roll from Sam'sBreh, that crowd is dead.
