Damn we're trash :mjlol:it's so hard to watch this team play. Even harder listening to Fitz try to freshen the odor.

Fitz is the absolute worst. And yes, wegotsuck again. But we'll be ok in the long run. That said:

* I understand all the noise around Jacob Evans, but I think I'm over that experiment.
* Smiley. He had one play where he drew a foul on Luka and his defense/footwork was impressive. Great play.
* I'm happy Chriss is back, even though it's a strange 2-way deal with only @ 20+ playing games left. I hope he comes back next year.
* I'm also digging Spellman. He reminds me of Moe Buckets.
* We should be winning more games than we are right now. I understand we're very shorthanded, but we need to fight harder in some of the closer games.
* I think Poole is going to be OK. He (IMO) obviously needs playing time so keeping him playing with the SCDubs is a good idea, but he played well last night. I'm not sure what his statline ended up being, but I thought he's showing improvement.
* I still really like Paschall, word to @tremonthustler1

Agree with everything except the bolded :whoa: I say let the tank keep riding. I want that top 4 draft pick.

:pachaha:

I get it. My issue is that I was in the Coliseum for a ton of the games during our 17/18/19 win seasons and that's a memory I do not want to re-live. But I do agree, at this point, a top pick is where we need to be aiming. But can we at least squeak out 25+ wins??

Also, regarding wins/losses: I am really encouraged how we've played even in a loss on most nights. We've (generally) been pretty competitive which is nice given how much we're currently missing.

I feel you but even when we sucked we didn't get a top 4 pick besides C-Webb, Joe Smith and Jamison. If you're not going to the playoffs I say be as bad as possible. I was wrong about WCS tho...dude is what he is. I thought he'd be better here. I watch the games now to see who we should keep for next year. I don't watch hoping that we'll win because it's the opposite. This is a lost season but it's a W if we land another big asset from it.

i think poole was the leading scorer. he's doing better, but consistency is the issue we've been having this season, When players like GR3, Poole, WCS do well, they will haven bad games later. Especially WCS

They should sit Draymond and let Paschall start from now on

You're right, Poole had 17. And yeah, consistency is a big issue but one that I believe would be better with a full squad. Right now we're counting on guys to play like stars just to be able to compete in a loss. But if we had Steph/Klay putting up 20 each a night that makes a huge difference and allows the kids and bench to breath a little and not have to play so perfectly.

We shouldn't need 30+ from our rookies every night, that's a lot to ask of them. So I'm keeping my homer-tinted glasses on, but I think (hope), I'm realistic about the situation now and moving forward. I just honestly think everything looks much different if Steph/Klay were playing.

oh yeah. things will def look better when those guys come back.

the thing i'm stuck at is, how are we supposed to compete with the lakers even with Steph an Klay? It's like Chris Paul said when we were on top, "If you're not trying to compete with the Warriors, what are you doing?!"

we are so undersized and our one true center is so lackadaisical on the court. constantly using power forwards to play center isnt gonna take us far. The same way Montiejunas man-handled us a few nights ago is the same thing that the Lakers will do (Javale, Dwight Howard, AD).
