Took a quick look at the political side of neogaf and yeah they went full alt right, didn't even have to search hard to find proof of it. Hilarious how far back the pendulum swung over there, it's just proof that the owner never really was the liberal he portrayed, he just wanted that ad revenue by any means necessary.
Whatever it's become people are talking more openly now without getting banned.

I mean I haven't been to that site since the meltdown but I always feel like a message forum should be a place where people of different views and perspectives can come together and talk. Gaf pre meltdown wasn't that as ResetEra isn't that now. In fact ReaetEra right now is worse that Gaf ever was.

Theres threads there for stuff that won't get any traction here. Trails series games, RWBY, gen:Lock. I've tried to get threads for each here and they usually flop. Trails might work with the new PS4 game though.

I think Resetera is good for drawing in gamers especially for niche titles, however I'd rather lurk than join up to somewhere where I cannot be myself.
