They're doing themselves a disservice by making that site literally a copy of NeoGAF. It doesn't even look like they have mentions enabled over there which is crazy. Might as well just used vBulletin if you wanted to site to look and be the exact same as GAF. What a waste.

Folks making the site seem like a God send, when in reality its just a shiny new toy that will get played out after a while. Reminds me of when I used to be on another forum and some of the folks got tired of the fukk shyt. So they decided to make a new forum which was fine for a bit, but conflict of moderation and the direction of the site dead the idea of even going further than just a simple message board.

Bottom line, the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Sometimes its good to find something new, instead of the same ole shyt. Hence why I prefer this site over others. Daily dose of fukkery and some common sense...keyword SOME

I tapped out with the new way of how they moderate the threads. Now they go into details to why they will ban or warn you, either though the reasons are pretty much bullshyt ala Gaf. It's just a bigger sandbox with a few toys but the same ants in the play area.

It's just silly stuff that bothers me about it. Like these would be the same people on GAF complaining that they're tired of seeing Trump threads filling up the OT. So they start a whole new forum with a chance to do something different...but they won't create forum specifically for politics. You won't see me complaining about seeing too many Trump threads on The Coli...why? Because I don't have to see them.

And I'm not saying you need a separate forum for every little thing...but if it's something that's overtaking the discussion on an entire forum by itself...It probably needs to have it's own space.

One particular development I loved is that some poster was going hard defending Evilore and got offended when someone said "there are only 3 types of posters left here, sexual predators, people waiting for there resetera account to be approved, and people who should have been banned a month ago. Well he was going on and on about how he isn't any of those and people should lay off with the snark. Well someone dug into his internet history and it turns out he has a felony for soliticing explicit material from minors. It was hilarious. He was banned and then they found out he secretly had an account at resetera so they banned him there too.
