Also, and I don't know if someone has already suggested this, but, there needs to be a dating/marriage/friendship/relationship sub-forum. A place where the nuances of these various different relationships can be discussed. We also need the ability to post anonymously, in certain sub-forums, so that authentic discussions can be had.

I know I'm late with this but tell the good homie Brook that we want a way to categorize posters. For instance if I want to have a list of good posters, I wanna be able to add them to my private list of good posters or put something by their name that only I can see.


On the flip side, I want to be able to put something next to a trash posters name. For instance, "idiot" or "cac".

I know the simple solution would be to ignore them but I like to know what other ppl are thinking even when I think they're dumbass cacs.

Tell him he can have all my coli cash if he can get this done

Nah we need a football guy too (no offense to you aint got a problem with you) but if you and another poster become mods and we end up with 2 or 3 for that section im sure everyone will be cool with that. Chicago gotta go or be outnumbered.

You are missing the point. What makes you think that there will be serious conversation if you can post without consequence? At least now, posters can be added to the ignore or bushed if they crossed the line(which isn't much) and you think taking that away is going lead to authentic/serious conversations?

I think so. For example, maybe a poster has something he/she wants to get off of his/her chest. Maybe a serious confession. Maybe they have a regret that they want to share with others for relief/advice. As it is right now, that poster wouldn't be able to share that information without it following them. With the ability to post anonymously, that poster would be able to converse with others and not have to worry about other posters bringing up that information later as a way to slight them. I think it could work well with proper moderation. Obviously you'd have some posters who would try to abuse it, but that can be expected with any feature. That's just how I feel about it.

But certain things should follow a poster. For example, there was a poster who made a very inappropriate comment about an underage girl on a TV show. It's bad enough that posters can change their usernames but just imagine if he was able to post that anonymously.

Which is where a mod would, ideally, step in and take the necessary steps to dealing with a poster like that (i.e. revealing that poster and banning them).
