a couple of questionable picks on day 2, but also some great picks with martin and thomas. so far a solid draft but getting stevie made this a pretty good offseason so far. i wish they would have addressed CB but still some talent out there so hopefully they pick a couple up.

Interesting If thats the case they'll probably pick up Aaron Colvin outta OU. I don't have a problem with this philosphy, but it does make me a little nervous.

i actually like colvin from what i've seen so taking him with a late pick would be all good with me.

i like colvin too and i'd be fine with redshirting another late 1st round talent but i'd like a healthy able-bodied CB since we already have one we're counting on coming off an acl tear in cully

SANTA CLARA – LaMichael James, who has remained away from the 49ers’ voluntary offseason program, is still part of the 49ers’ plan for the upcoming season, general manager Trent Baalke said.


Baalke said Friday night that the club will not necessarily look to add a return specialist on the third day of the draft to supplant James, who 10.9 yards on 23 returns and did not lose a fumble.

outside of gilbert and dennard maybe I didn't think the drop off was that much from the rest of these guys most were gonna be projects moving forward
