Y’all are overthinking it. It didn’t ask how much he profited, it just asks how much he made in general.

“BUYS IT BACK” means it’s not two independent actions, goofy.

BUY A CAR AND THEN SELL IT. GO BUY IT AGAIN AND TELL ME YOU DON'T APPEAR AS THE OWNER TWICE. TWO... INDEPENDENT...ACTIONS. IT MEANS EITHER TRANSACTION CAN EXIST ON IT'S OWN WITHOUT THE OTHER. GOOFY.

THE TRUTH IS THERE ARE 4 TRANSACTIONS. TWO BUYS AND TWO SELLS. 1 BUY/1 SELL ARE DEPENDENT ON EACH OTHER. YOU CAN'T SELL SOMETHING YOU DON'T OWN SO YOU HAVE TO HAVE A BUY SOMEWHERE. THERE ARE TWO DEPENDENT BUY/SELL TRANSACTIONS THAT ARE INDEPENDENT OF EACH OTHER.

Nah, look at it this way.

Say he started with $100 in his pocket, he buys the goat for $60, now he has $40 and the goat. He sells the goat for $70, he now has $110. He buys another goat for $80, now he has $30 and the goat. He sells the goat for $90, now he has $120. He started with $100, now he has $120. He made $20.
But why are we assuming he had any more money bro lol. It doesn’t say that in the statement

And pays back the loan which means no profit. You’re most human being my nikka.

If I originally had $10,and you gave me $10 more to make a purchase.I now have a total of $20...I make the $20 purchase then sell it for $30...I've made $10 profit....I now give you the $10 you loaned me back...I still made $10 ptofit....I originally had $10,now I have $20.

WHY ASSUME HE HAS ANY MONEY PERIOD? THERE ARE 2 BLANKET STATEMENTS. BASED ON THE INFO GIVEN, HE MADE 20 BUCKS. THE ONLY REAL DISCUSSION TO BE HAD AT THIS POINT IS GROSS AND NET.

It doesn't matter. Even doing it your way, he started with $60, ends up with $80. Say he has $60 buys the goat, sells it for $70. Now he wants to buy the goat again for $80, he gets the extra $10 from somewhere else so he has the $80, he sells the goat for $90, pays back the $10 and has $80 in his pocket. He started with $60 and now has $80. He made $20.

Aye breh. You drunk right now. :gucci: how the hell you can't figure this simple shyt out. Stop making this harder than what it is.

-60+70=10
70-80=-10
-10+90=80
80-60=20

That's exactly what the problem said stop putting all this extra shyt in there

Dude buys for 60

Sells for 70

= 10 profit(correct)

Buys back for 80( he spends his 70 that he made plus another 10)

Now he is -10

Sells it for 90(correct) u would assume he makes 10 off It correct? No cause he has to put the extra 10 in step 2 back where he got it from.

Either way u look at it it’s not 20
