North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Oh you're one of those who thinks he only made $10 by selling it twice :mjlol:

He made $20 by selling it twice, he would have made $30 by selling it for $90 to begin with, thus he left $10 on the table.

I'm only factoring the first transaction.

But in reality he could've made more selling it in parts.

You don't understand what net profit is. :snoop:

Here's a hint: net profit does not mean your profit solely off of your last sale:russ:
Net profit is profit - any extra cost incurred

It's that simple. I really don't understand what you don't understand

If you had to spend an extra 10 to purchase the item again then that cuts into your profit period

No shyt, that's why him selling that goat he bought for $60 for $90 only got him a $20 profit instead of a $30 profit.

Just cuz he needed another $10 to buy the goat, doesn't mean he lost his profit. If you have $70 in your wallet, and someone loans you $10, that doesn't mean you lost anything. You now have $70 + $10 = $80. If you choose to do nothing with the borrowed $10, you just give it back and you still have your original $70. You didnt lose anything. The only way you lose your profit is if you lose the borrowed $10 and still have to pay it back.
You don' understand the concept of debt smh

Again, ya'll are proving why so many are bad with money

Ki's is one and two-fifth, so how we flip?
32 grams raw, chop it in half, get 16
Double it times three, we got 48
Which mean a whole lot of cream
Divide the profit by four
Subtract it by eight, we back to 16
Now add the other two that 'Mega bringing through
So let's see, if we flip this other ki
Then that's more for me, mad coke and mad leak
Plus a five hundred cut in half is two-fifty
Now triple that times three
We got three quarters of another ki

You're attempting to look at the problem as one big chunk when it's clearly stated that one set of transactions happens FIRST, THEN the other set of transactions happens

And again, you keep assuming that dude is somehow pulling extra money out of nowhere to buy the goat the 2nd time when that's not stated anywhere

70-60=$10 profit from the first sale

70+10 of your own money to buy the goat back = $0 NET

90-80= $10 NET

No where did I make any statement on how he bought the the goat the second time in that post...cuz it doesn't matter. The problem told us that he did buy it. That's all that matter.

The problem asks "how much did he make", not "what was his net profit according to @xCivicx's dumb ass definition"

I illustrated to you yesterday that even if you assume he started with $70 in his pocket (which you seem hell bent on doing), he'll end up with $90 after doing the transactions in the order stated in the problem. Clearly he made $20.

Breh, he made $10 two times. Don't worry about how much he spent. That information is immaterial and is only there to throw you off.
