At this point he has to make make purchase of 80. Twenty dollars more than his start-up position. Ten dollars will come from his profit from sales one and ten is a loan. He purchases at 80 which is like he now had 20 dollars more than where he started. But ten of it is a loan.

He's up 30 and 10 of that wasn't profit. Profit is 20

How does he now have “$20 more than where he started” when he’s spending it? That’s money out. That’s not a profit.

In all seriousness, this thread proves that ya'll coli geniuses are not as "brilliant" as ya'll act like in all of the other threads. On careers, money advice, etc...
If you cannot figure out this very simple question. Please stop giving advice on anything financial.

A thread of grown supposed to be "intelligent" brothers looking at this 5th grade math equation and coming out with ridiculous answers between he broke even, he gained $20, he gained $30, he gained $60. LOL cmon ya'll!

It is clear and I figured it out in 2 secs. The guy made $10. If you don't see that. Please only give sports advice from here on out.

And I'm only being this critical of ya'll right now because this forum is NOTORIOUS for giving harsh harsh criticism of everyone else and they situation! And yall's brehs are displaying you don't understand simply math and simple economics! LOL

Lol you lecturing and you got the answer wrong

If you think of it as being two different items you bought and sold, clearly you flipped a $60 item for $70 and you flipped a $80 item for $90 and made $20 combined across those two deals

So say they're two different goats you bought and sold. You make $20.

Now ask yourself, why would the identity of the goat matter? :leostare:
And that's the question that gets me. Why did they tell me it was the same goat.
What is special about this goat?:jbhmm:

Buys at 60

Sell for 70

= 10 dollar profit

He goes on to buy it for 80

He has to use the 70 plus borrow 10 from somewhere else to buy at 80

Now he -10 in the hole

Now he sells it for 90 and makes back A 10 dollar profit

He pays the money back to who ever loaned him the 10

= 0 profit

Assuming this ain’t birdman and he ain’t paying nobody anyway I would say 0

He started at 60. Ended up at 90. He's plus 30 at the moment but ten of that like you said could have been borrowed. so realistically hes only plus 20
