As per the Warriors loss tonight, the 4 teams in the 4 major sports in North America who had the best regular season records in their respective sports' histories did NOT end up winning their respective championships. Patriots, Red Wings, Mariners, and now the Warriors.

The Dolphins went undefeated in 1972 and won the Superbowl. The Bears only lost 1 game in 1985 and won the Superbowl.

Btw, the Mariners only tied the Chicago Cubs for the single season record.
